Petronas Scholarship Awards

You can apply to 4 different educational units offered by Petronas:-

  • Educational Sponsorship Unit (ESU)

    - PETRONAS offers sponsorships to students with excellent SPM results annually.

    - Programmes mainly related to Engineering, Applied Science, Business Management and Economics.

  • Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP)
    - Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical engineering courses are available at this private university.

    - There are also minor/elective in Information Technology or Information System courses here.

  • Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM)
    - ALAM sponsors qualified candidates full sponsorship maritime programme.

    - Malaysia International Shipping Corporation (MISC) offers full scholarships for a 4 year CADET SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME at ALAM.

  • Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP)

    - This is a two-year pre-employment programme offered to SPM holders.

    - Programme trains youths and equips them for a job opportunity in either Malaysian petroleum or petrochemical industries.
