(ISC)² Information Security Scholarship

(ISC)² maintains a Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to those who are actively pursuing full-time post-graduate studies and university-approved research in the field of Information Security. Four scholarships awarded globally.

The recipient must be a post-graduate full-time student, in good standing, pursuing a program in Information Security at an accredited, nationally-recognized university. The duration of the scholarship is for one academic year, but may be consecutively renewed subject to all criteria being met, or applied to multiple university-approved research projects.

Scholarship applications must be submitted no later than April 30th of each year. Awards will be announced no later than June 31st of the same year.

The scholarship is awarded by the Scholarship Committee of (ISC)².

In order of priority, the criteria that will be used by the Scholarship Committee in determining recipients will be:

  1. Relevant research;
  2. Any (ISC)² designation;
  3. Financial need.
